Introduction
DappRadar DAO will actively support various DAO ecosystems, cultivating a culture of metagovernance. We will become a DAO of DAOs, but what does this mean?
Our DAO Vision
Open source contribution, open data and open communities or organizations (DAOs) have always been part of our core values. As our centralized entity evolves into a DAO, the way we work and understand the web3 ecosystem also evolves.
We envision a multichain future which thrives on diversity and resilience. Cross-chain collaboration and interoperability helps to achieve this, necessitating the both technical and social bridges – the essence of DAOs.
By actively supporting various DAO ecosystems, DappRadar DAO aims to usher this vision and cultivate a culture of metagovernance.
Our Metagovernance Manifesto: A DAO of DAOs
Finding our inspiration in the trailblazing steps of innovators like Base and other participants in Optimism RetroPGF, this manifesto is not just a statement but a declaration of our evolutionary path forward.
The culture of metagovernance occurs when different DAOs hold voting power in another DAOs, typically through holding their governance token. Within this framework, each DAO participates in and contributes in each others governance and growth, creating a tapestry of collaboration and support in the entire DAO ecosystem.
Growth, Gamification and Governance
As we build the World’s Dapp Store, our ongoing efforts are focused on enhancing our tools and services for web3 growth and governance. From our open data platform to Contribute2Earn and our Quest product that gamifies the onboarding experience into web3 projects, we seek to onboard a community of power users, gamers, learners, contributors and projects. All to incentivise more on-chain and DAO activity moving forward.
Our Commitment
In alignment with this manifesto, moving forward, we pledge to allocate 3% of our DAO Grants towards bolstering Governance, Gamification, and Growth in web3 communities.
By accumulating governance tokens through this strategy we can support and influence other DAOs whilst also diversifying our treasury. Our commitment is steadfast in continuously developing products and initiatives that not only propel our own DAO journey but also support the evolution of other DAOs.
