X mas next year or end of next year news years idea for 2025

So this years X mas event was ok but it was nothing to Shout about realy if imma be honest.

So i thought of a idea that would like to see if community likes the idea and the team does too and can afford to do said suggested idea.
After i have done this i will pass i thought the Chatgpt see what it also thinks of the idea and the pros and cons of it. (i rekon there will be any cons hardly other than the cost of it i could be wrong tho lets see)

Anyways this idea needs to get passed on sorta quick as well so hopfuly we can have this as a yes or no idea fast so we can get on with the idea its self.

So we have pro airdrops, and these are great, but i think starting next year each month we should take a portion of the tresurey profits and or part of the tresurey id say around $20 to $30 each pro member or $20,000 to $30,000 each month split between pro members and how much they have staked. (like we do now)

Now we need a increase in pro members and we also need a increase in activity from the community these are two things i think are going very slowely.

So this idea each month the community can vote on which token they would like to see gifted and airdroped on Xmas or new years day (which ever again the community prefures) but this would be a epic closing year event i think for the community as a whole specialy for them like me who have been with dappradar over the years.

Anyways each month the community can vote on certain tokens from a bunch that they have a choose over and at end of the vote the token chosen gets bought and then put away (and or even staked if able this way team can recover some costs back over the year with the early picked tokens)

So i wrote up a little chart this is just a hypohetical one but something id imagined up.

Jan : Pick from Doge, Shiba, Pepe = meme themed month $20 to $25 per pro user or $20,000 to $30,000 (increase in pro users) spent then split between pro users for december drop

Feb: Pick From ETH, BNB, Polygon = chains we are on Theme month, $20 to $30 per pro user or $25,000 to $35,000 (increase in pro users) spent then split between pro users for the december drop.

March: Pick from Quick, Cake, Or Ape = Dexs we are on theme month, $20 to $30 per pro user or $25,000 to $35,000 (increase in pro users) spent then split between pro users for the december drop.

I’m not going to do all 12 months because im sure the team might have other ideas for tokens though out the year in december tho i suggest there is no Vote this month but it is a Radar Prize of say $50.000 or how every much we could afford split between users or a set amount of tokens per pro user. (partnerships or even boosted winners could possible add stuff to the Presents and also we could theme a few quests around this too so some people get extra presents adding another layer to quests sorta we can do pro quests and pro present quests and normal quests =) )

(this gives the team time to sorta relax come the end of year and there wont be any issues as such giving that radar is the last token to be given in the x mas / new years present airdrop)

I hope you get what i mean from this imma ask the community for some freed back on this iead as well and id like to hear what the teams thoughts are and if it would even be possible because spending $30,000 each month seems expensive but i rekon we would see a increase in community chatting on votes, Excitement from the community knowing they got a present at the end of the year which also adds antipiation, and hopfuly creates a more positive community.

A.I says this

Your suggestion has a lot of thought and enthusiasm, and it’s clear that you want to foster community engagement and create a memorable experience for DappRadar’s Pro members. Here’s a detailed breakdown of your idea and its pros and cons:

Strengths of the Suggestion

  1. Increased Community Engagement:
  • Monthly voting on tokens allows Pro members to feel involved and have a say in decisions. This participatory element can encourage more engagement in community discussions.
  • Themed months keep the concept fresh and appealing throughout the year.
  1. Incentivizing Pro Membership:
  • Airdrops tied to Pro membership and staking can attract new users and encourage current members to maintain or increase their stakes.
  • The end-of-year gift serves as a powerful incentive for users to stay engaged throughout the year.
  1. Flexibility for Partnerships:
  • Allowing for partnerships or boosted rewards could bring in external collaborations and additional funds, reducing the burden on DappRadar’s treasury.
  1. Strategic Token Selection:
  • Selecting tokens based on themes (e.g., memes, chains, or DEX tokens) adds structure and relevance, potentially attracting niche audiences within the crypto space.
  1. Potential Revenue Recovery:
  • If early-picked tokens are staked, the rewards could help offset the cost of the airdrops.

Potential Challenges

  1. Cost Management:
  • Spending $20,000 to $30,000 monthly could be a strain on the treasury if Pro membership growth doesn’t offset this expense.
  • Economic downturns or market volatility could make this a risky commitment.
  1. Execution Complexity:
  • Managing votes, securing tokens, and organizing the distribution requires significant operational effort.
  • Security risks, such as ensuring tokens are safely stored and distributed, need to be addressed.
  1. Impact on Tokenomics:
  • Introducing a significant end-of-year Radar token drop might affect its market value or perceptions of scarcity.
  1. Sustainability:
  • Maintaining this program year after year could become challenging, especially if the initial excitement wanes.
  1. Fairness Concerns:
  • Distributing rewards based on staking amounts may favor larger stakeholders, potentially alienating smaller participants.

Suggestions for Improvement

  • Introduce Gradual Scaling: Start with a smaller test program for a quarter, using reduced monthly budgets and a limited token selection to gauge community response and impact.
  • Integrate Gamification: Add more ways for members to earn increased rewards (e.g., completing specific tasks, participating in community events).
  • Transparency on Budget: Share clear projections on how the treasury will sustain this program without compromising other initiatives.
  • Incentivize Referrals: Boost Pro memberships by integrating referral rewards into this program.
  • Ensure Voting Simplicity: Keep token voting straightforward and accessible to avoid voter fatigue or confusion.

Summary

Your idea has great potential to enhance community excitement and Pro member value, but it will require careful planning and execution to address the cost, sustainability, and operational complexities. It’s worth sharing with the community and team to gather additional feedback and refine it further.
